How long does it take you to build and publish my website?
Normally it take around 2-4 weeks from the time you sign up to get you website up and running. This time will vary depending on many factors such as how quickly we get all the information we need from you.
How do you build my site?
When you sign up we send you a welcome pack. This pack outlines all the things we need from you to build your site. For example we ask you to send photos or past brochures. We use these to build your site. Once we have completed a draft of your site we'll be in contact to get some feedback. Any changes that are needed will then be made and shortly after your site will go live.
Will my site be listed on the search engines like Google?
Every site we build is optimised so as that it achieves the highest possible page ranking. Your site should over time appear on most search engines automatically however for assurance and speed we recommend choosing our Premium package which include Search Boost which will help your website get listed quicker and rank better.
How do you get all the information to build my site?
When you sign up we send you a welcome pack which outlines all the things we need you to send us to build your site. Put it all in an envelope, pop it in a post box and leave the rest to us.
Why is the site so affordable?
Our business model has been developed with small businesses in mind. We know that you probably don't have buckets of money to spend, especially if your just starting out so we have developed a model where we can take advantage of economies of scale to reduce our costs and thus also our prices.
Can I host my site on my own servers?
Unfortunately because of the rich functionality which comes with your site it is necessary to host your site on our servers to ensure all access rights and permissions are in place.
What if I want to make changes to my site's content?
The Premium Web Design Package and the Ecommerce Package come complete with content management which means you can log into your website management console at any time and edit text and images. With the Standard and Starter packages we can make any changes you would like and will quote for these changes on a change by change basis.
How much is hosting after the free 12 months period is over?
All packages come with free hosting for 12 months. After this point hosting is charged at £99+vat a year for all packages except the Starter package which is £49 a year.
What if I want to make changes to the site design?
Your site is designed based on your specification outlined in the welcome pack. It is our aim to give you the design you're after and we will be happy to make changes to the design to get it looking how you want. Major changes which involve a significant amount of time to design and were not originally specified in your welcome pack may incur an extra fee to cover our costs.
